The AMC Museum’s educational summer camp is for children interested in aeronautics and the U.S. Air Force. They will learn the history and science of flight, learn to fly in a simulator, and pre-flight an actual aircraft. They’ll also see what it’s like in a working air traffic control tower on base, get a weather briefing, talk to a pilot and loadmaster and go on a digital scavenger hunt.

Air Camp is a hands-on, educational adventure in aviation and aeronautics, serving students at the intermediate and middle school levels, as well as teachers and educational leaders across all grades. Minnesota Aviation Career Education Camp

One of the state’s most popular summer camps for aviators, the Minnesota Aviation Career Education Camp was founded in 1991 by Minnesota’s Department of Transportation (MN DOT) in partnership with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to promote aviation education at a critical point in student’s career selection process — entry in 10th, 11th and 12th grades. Each summer 60 students take part in this week-long, residential camp that offers exclusive access to all things aviation. Their mission is to help students realize their dreams by making their ideas tangible and set forth a plan for each student through guided mentorship, and is one of the most successful and recognized ACE camps in the entire country.
Nashville Pilot Camp

Specially designed for students from the ages 13-18, Nashville Pilot Camp offers the opportunity to find out what it really takes to learn to fly. During this one-week summer camp, students will learn through hands-on participation as they gain valuable aviation experience. Participants also learn disciplines of aviation through STEM and meet like-minded aviation enthusiasts their own age.
Embry-Riddle Aviation Discovery Camp

The Embry-Riddle Aviation Discovery Camp is an academic program is for students who are serious about learning all aspects of flight. This three-day camp is for students 12-15 years old who are interested in aviation. Students will be taught from ERAU faculty and flight instructors to gain an introductory experience. Classes will include ground school, ATC Airspace, careers in aviation, aerodynamics, aircraft and aviation safety, accident investigation, and a weather lab. Students will be taking a flight in a Cessna 172 during the program and will learn what flight students do during their training. Participants partake in a graduation dinner on the last day of the program, which parents/families are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Saint Louis University Aviation Summer Academy

The Saint Louis University Aviation Summer Academy is a six-day, five-night residential camp that invites students entering grades 11 and 12 to learn more about different areas of study and career paths in aviation. During the academy, Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology faculty, certified flight instructors and student mentors guide participants through hands-on activities in subjects that include flight science, aviation management, aerial navigation, aircraft design, unmanned aerial vehicles and air traffic control. Academy participants also take flights in Saint Louis University airplanes with the team of certified flight instructors, participate in off-campus field trips and explore SLU’s campus.
