A precision instrument approach is available to Runway 10R and non-precision instrument approaches to runways 10R, 28L, 28R and 36. The airport also has a published precision instrument approach procedure for helicopters.

FBO & Control Tower Information

One of the busiest general aviation airports in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, Flying Cloud has an FAA-operated control tower and an instrument landing system. The tower operates daily in the winter from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, staying open an extra hour, until 10:00 PM in summer. Several full-service operators provide corporate aircraft services, private flight training, aircraft charter, rental, sales and maintenance.

St. Paul Downtown (KSTP)

The tower is open 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday and 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.

Anoka County-Blaine (KANE)

Airlake Airport has a single 4,098′ x 75′ runway and full-length parallel taxiway. The airport offers a precision instrument approach to Runway 30 and a non-precision approach to Runway 12.

Pilots use common traffic advisory procedures flying to and from the airport as there is no air traffic control tower. An FBO provides fueling and other aircraft maintenance services.
